Dr. Emily A. Gould graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and has been practicing small animal medicine ever since. After caring for pets and their families in Florida, California, and Colorado, she is delighted to be part of the Los Altos Veterinary Clinic team and to serve the Bay Area community.

Dr. Gould is passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond through client education and collaborative care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has particular interests in preventive medicine, weight management, and dentistry, helping pets live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

Dr. Gould is dedicated to building lasting relationships with pets and their families, taking the time to ensure owners feel informed and supported through every stage of their pet’s life. She also has a special interest in guiding families through quality-of-life discussions and end-of-life care with compassion, empathy, and dignity.

Outside of work, Dr. Gould lives in Cupertino with her husband, two daughters, and their German Shepherd. She enjoys reading, running, and exploring California’s outdoors with her family.
